X SIGHT REVIEW

The X-Sight glasses are the best shooting glasses I have ever used. I was struggling for a while trying to get glasses in which the bridge didn’t interfere with my shooting, but every option was either too expensive or of very low quality and did not last. A friend let me try out his X-Sight glasses and I knew straight away that these were the answer. The glasses are very well made, extremely clear, and very well priced for the quality of the product. I’ve shot with them at almost every competition since I got them and they’ve served me well every time.

AN INTERVIEW WITH FIACHRA

When did you get into archery?
I have been shooting for 7 and a half years. I started when my coach came into my school and ran a beginners course. I joined my local club after that and have been there ever since.

What do you enjoy most about archery?
The fact that it’s never perfect and there’s always something I can work on and improve.

What has been your most memorable experience to date?
Going to my first junior Europeans as a cadet in 2014. This was my first international competition and the things I’ve learned from that competition have remained relevant to my internationals now.

What would be your best advice to upcoming archers?
Work on your mental game as you work on your physical training too if you want to be well prepared for the increasing level of competition. Most of all though, remember to have fun, you do this sport because you enjoy it, it’s important to keep that enjoyment.

What do you get up to when you’re not shooting?
I recently took up snowboarding and I take my chances to go away and do that whenever I can.
