X SIGHT REVIEW

Xsight glasses are extraordinarily well made and wearing them really helps me to focus. In normal Dutch weather the purple lens rocks and helps me to achieve a relaxed state of mind. Wearing them has helped me open both my eyes while before I tended to close one because of the light intensity.

AN INTERVIEW WITH MAX

When did you get into archery?
I started archery in 2010 at 10 years of age when I was searching for a cool activity for my birthday party.

What do you enjoy most about archery?
I really enjoy that everything is done by yourself in archery. If you win it wasn’t anyone else other than you who made it happen but also losing is done by yourself, you can’t blame anyone else other than yourself.

What are your goals and aspirations?
I hope I’ll one day be number 1 in the world and win a world cup.

What has been your most memorable experience to date?
My most memorable experience is from July 2017 at the European Youth Cup in Croatia where I competed in the bronze final with the mixed team together with Evelien Groeneveld. The final felt like 4 seconds and the last shot which had to be a ten was extremely difficult but it was the best match ever.

What would be your best advice to upcoming archers?
The best advice I can give to upcoming archers is to enjoy every moment even when it’s going terribly because only you can change it so why not enjoy the day and try to do better next time.

What do you get up to when you’re not shooting?
Outside archery I like to do photography of archery and landscapes.
